Looking to hook a challenge? Set course for Hatteras with Good Times Sportfishing and enter one of the area’s competitive and thrilling deep sea fishing tournaments.

Held in the late spring and summer months, the tournament season kicks off with the Hatteras Village Offshore Open every May. This four-day event offers three days for each competitor to fish, and is the first event of the North Carolina Governor’s Cup.

Outer Banks Fishing

The fishing tournament season continues in June with the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, followed by July’s Ducks Unlimited Billfish Tournament. Each offers great summertime fishing, fun and prizes for competitors looking to hook a trophy catch. The season wraps up with the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament, held the second weekend in August, with socials, highly competitive stakes and thousands of dollars in prizes on the line.

All events are extremely well attended, and space fills up quickly. Schedule your next trip to the Outer Banks with us, and get in on your chance to land the King of the Ocean – the blue marlin – along with some great cash and hardware!
